Police responded to One Paraiso Residences, a luxury condominium building in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday and found 27-year-old Christian Obumseli, who had been stabbed once.A woman who police said was Obumseli’s girlfriend had called 911 to report the incident. The woman, whose name was not released, was detained and taken to a mental institution, police said.
Police said there was a physical altercation between Obumseli and his girlfriend before he was stabbed.
