All versions of the Optiq feature a dual-motor setup with 300 hp and 354 lb-ft and, according to Cadillac, a range of around 300 miles
While pricier than a Model Y Performance, the Optiq looks more premium and is better equipped. All versions of the electric SUV use an 85 kWh battery pack with twin electric motors. Cadillac will soon scrap the base Lyriq, opening up a larger gap between it and the Optiq.
Cadillac says the Optiq will be good for around 300 miles of range on a single charge and that when plugged into a DC fast charger, 79 miles of range can be added in 10 minutes. Cars Direct notes that as it stands, the 2025 Optiq is $4,300 cheaper than the cheapest Lyriq. However, Cadillac will drop the entry-level Lyriq for the 2025 model year, effectively increasing its price by around $4,100 as the Luxury trim will now serve as the most affordable option.
