And now for something completely different. We hope you weren’t waiting for more quarterback intrigue after six went in the top 12 picks of a record-breaking first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. No quarterbacks came off the board on Day 2 of the draft Friday, with the second round in particular seeing a run on defenders along the line of scrimmage and in the secondary.
But I’ve been really impressed with what new GM Adam Peters has done thus far. After adding Jayden Daniels at No. 2, Peters added two defensive pieces . But the piece I really like is Kansas State tight end Ben Sinnott, a solid pass-catcher who’s great in space. He’ll arrive in Washington with the chance to learn from veteran , too. Brandon Coleman, an offensive lineman with flexibility, shined at the Senior Bowl and could end up a key blocker for Daniels for years to come.
