Ford finally offers us details on the 2024 Mustang Mach-E and how it gets more performance and range, as well as faster charging times out of the crossover
2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT gets optional $995 Performance Upgrade that adds 100 lb-ft of torque. Ford also increased driving range by up to 20 miles, while reducing charging times by up to 20 percent. Prices for the 2024 Ford Mustang Select start at $41,890 . Back in January, Ford told us that the new 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT would be its fastest ever EV, but didn't share many details about how or why.
Improved range and faster charging times Ford engineers have also enhanced the performance of the Mustang Mach-E's batteries, enabling the vehicle to achieve greater range and faster charging times. At a DC fast charging station, the crossover's batteries recharge 20 percent faster. This improvement translates to extended-range battery models requiring only 36.2 minutes to go from 10 to 80 percent state of charge, which is about 8.8 minutes faster than before.
