In 2023, such restraint on the part of an automaker is refreshing—most new cars keep getting pricier each year, even when they're not all new or even mildly revised.is just one example; nothing about it is different from the 2022 version, and the compact sedan's price stays the same: $21,045 to start.
That's for the least-expensive Sentra S model, the entry-level variant with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 active safety features and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Stepping up to the mid-level Sentra SV nets buyers 16-inch aluminum wheels in place of steelies with hubcaps, a 7.0-inch gauge-cluster display, a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, and adaptive cruise control. The price jumps to $22,265, a mere $140 more than last year's Sentra SV MSRP.
At the top of the range is the Sentra SR, which runs $100 more this year—starting at $23,935—and adds LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, sportier body addenda, and darker trim. As before, an SR Midnight Package that darkens the theme further with black wheels and trim is available for $695.
