The engine is good for 325 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque between 2,200 rpm and 4,000 rpm. This gives it slightly more grunt than the U.S.-spec model that has to make do with “only” 315 hp. Honda says the new Civic Type R launches to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and can sprint all the way through to 275 km/h .
