via a new Black Diamond Off-Road Package. If Black Diamond sounds familiar, that's because there's a Black Diamond trim for the larger Ford Bronco. When applied to the Ford Escape-based Bronco Sport, the Black Diamond Off-Road Package is, well, an add-on package for the Big Bend and Outer Banks trims. There is no stand-alone Black Diamond Bronco Sport. Clear as mud? Let's splash in.
The package has special 17-inch Carbonized Gray aluminum wheels wearing grippy 225/65R17 all-terrain tires. The wheels and tires look to be from the Bronco Sport's Heritage trim, minus the Oxford White body accents. The wheels could evoke a love/hate reaction—some will love how, as on other Bronco Sports that use this same design, they resemble basic steel wheels. Others might not love that their aluminum rims resemble bargain-basement steelies.
