Ford built only 45 track-only 2020 GT Mk II models and now one is coming up for auction through Mecum in May.
is a track-only version of the modern Ford GT supercar. It wasn't built for racing, however, as it doesn't conform to the rules of any race series. Production is limited to 45 cars priced at $1.2 million each.
Mk II upgrades include more power and less weight. If you're wondering how the owner got around Ford's two-year waiting period for original GT owners to sell their cars, Mecum has said in the past that the rule only applies to the road car.
