The cozy French bistro in Forest Hill is expanding its Bay Area footprint.
Since 2003, Chouchou has been a cozy, chic destination for escargots, duck leg confit Wellington, mushroom soufflé and crème brulée. The name comes from the French term of endearment “mon petit chou,” or “my little cabbage,” then-owner Samie Didda told theThe Burlingame Chouchou will be at 401 Primrose Road in the former Stella Alpina Osteria space, reported the San Francisco Business Times. The Italian restaurant recently moved to a new larger location at 1448 Burlingame Ave.
