For months, the series had been teasing the fact that one character would have a twin. Fans of the books will recall that the twin plot was established in the novels, but the TV show had a totally different take. Instead of Ali being the one with the identical twin, it was her mother. Enter: Mary Drake. TBH, we’re still not sure if we can trust this character, and there’s definitely a lot left to learn about her.
