The agency received reports that a 38-foot boat ran aground on a jetty at Barnegat Inlet.
Two distressed boaters were rescued Monday night off the coast of the Jersey Shore, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
Crews from the Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light responded to the scene and transported the mariners back to the station on a utility boat, authorities said. They were evaluated by EMS techs and released after they were determined to be in stable condition, the Coast Guard said.
