PHILADELPHIA -- I-95 is closed in both directions in South Philadelphia after a crash killed two Pennsylvania state troopers and a civilian early Monday morning.

It happened around 12:40 a.m. on I-95 southbound near the Stadium Complex, just north of Broad Street.PHILADELPHIA COUNTY - The Pennsylvania State Police confirms two Troopers and a civilian were struck and killed on I-95 South in the area of milepost 18 in Philadelphia City at approx. 12:40 a.m. More information to follow.State police patrol I-95 and Action News is told the troopers were making a traffic stop at the time.Philadelphia police were first to arrive at the scene.
