UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan -- Two passengers were killed when an apparently speeding car crashed on the FDR Drive on the Upper East Side, closing all but one northbound lane for more than six hours.
Police say the 33-year-old driver of a late model Infiniti lost control and crashed into a retaining wall at 4:41 a.m. Friday.The driver was able to escape, but two female passengers were trapped and pronounced dead.
