The staff at Mechanicsburg Family Dentistry will devote Friday to helping as many people as they can who have been unable to afford dental care. Free dental care including fillings, teeth cleaning and tooth extractions will be available first-come, first-served between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the practice atThe staff led by dentists Eric Solberg and Zachary Kishbaugh are holding the event in conjunction with national Free Dentistry Day.
The dentists note that many people in the community have long gone without dental care, with federal authorities estimating that 108 million Americans lack dental insurance, and poor dental health often leads to other health problems.
