Peace Islands Institute Pennsylvania , a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, respect, and mutual understanding among diverse cultures and faiths, is excited to announce along with partners from all over our state the 11th Annual Cultural Celebration Day. The event will take place at Pennsylvania State Capitol, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday June 7.
Themed “Stronger Together,” this year’s event underscores the importance of unity in diversity, recognizing our shared strength when we come together in understanding and coexistence. The event kicks off at 11 am with various cultural exhibits, followed by a grand Cultural Parade at 11:30 a.m. At 12 p.m., we have the honor of Representative Eddie Day Pashinski performing the National Anthem. Mr. Selmanlar will then deliver the welcome remarks, officially marking the beginning of the celebration. The event will continue by traditional entertainment and shows by various cultures. Complimentary lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
