The riders are coming together for a poignant reason
More than 100 bikers and scooter riders will descend on a McDonald's restaurant ahead of a ride out across the city.
It takes place twice a year at Easter and Christmas, when Easter eggs and selection boxes are donated to children at Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Geoff Bell, 71, from Old Swan, decided to keep the event going to support children being treated at the hospital. Geoff is a member of Liverpool Scooter Club, with other members also set to join the ride out tomorrow. Anyone with a bike or scooter is invited to join the event, which up to 150 people are expected to attend. The group will also travel down Green Lane, West Derby Road and up Mill Bank to the Jolly Miller. They will then turn right onto Queens Drive, left into East Prescot Road and arrive at Alder Hey Children's Hospital between 1.30-1.45pm.
