25-year-old Cedric Martinez was found dead on Oct. 4, 2022 after being struck by a car, Phoenix police said.
Phoenix police were investigating a fatal hit and run on Tuesday near 19th Avenue and Pierson Street.
According to Phoenix police, they received a call around 11 p.m. about an accident. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 25-year-old Cedric Martinez with fatal injuries after being struck by a car. The suspect and vehicle involved were outstanding as of Wednesday afternoon. Phoenix police said an investigation was ongoing.
Police asked anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers.
