🚨 Lincolnshire Police gets a £3.8m windfall, including £1.8m to tackle challenges at RAF Scampton's asylum seeker camp
Lincolnshire Police has been granted an additional £3.8m funding by the Government, including £1.8m to tackle challenges with asylum seekers being housed at RAF Scampton.
PCC Marc Jones expressed his gratitude towards ministers and officials for their time and effort in working through these challenges. "We are acutely aware of the heightened concerns of residents in and around the Scampton area and this funding will allow the Chief Constable to support those communities."
