Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus have been found in large numbers in New Jersey this season. Four cases were in Bergen County, including a person who died. Three cases were reported in Middlesex County and one in Camden County.A New Jersey resident has died from West Nile virus, one of eight cases that have been reported this season in the state, officials said.
Seven of the eight cases involved neurological illness, the state Department of Health said in a statement. Six of the patients have been hospitalized.
