Utah's winter season has left the state covered in an accumulation of snow that it hasn't experienced for years. The word "unexpected" could be used to define the past 18 months of Utah's weather.

"Early to mid-90s is maybe when those on staff can remember when we had two that were really, really big like this last season," Wilkey said.
