One armed robbery occurred at York Street and Marin Boulevard at approximately 12:55 a.m., the other a few minutes earlier at Barrow and York streets, two blocks west. The assailants in both robberies were two people, one a man and the other believed to be a juvenile, dressed in black, police said in radio transmissions.
