Two people were injured after a shooting Wednesday in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
Shortly before 4 p.m., police responded to reports of a possible shooting in the 2900 block of Brookdale Avenue, between Fruitvale and Coolidge avenues.
When officers arrived, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, and provided care until first responders could take them to a hospital. Both victims’ conditions were not immediately available. Police did not share any suspect or vehicle description. For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $10,000 in the shooting.
