University Heights are investigating a matter in which a man tried to steal a car occupied by boys, 16 and 12, when stopped at a local gas station.
Two female Target employees sought for assaulting a fellow female employee: University Heights police blotterUniversity Heights police arrested a man, 35, on domestic violence charges involving his wife and her brother.At 11:15 a.m. Aug. 28, police were called to Target, 14070 Cedar Road, where it was reported that a physical altercation involving employees had taken place.
The victim sustained minor injuries to her mouth and head that did not require immediate medical attention.At 9:25 p.m. Aug. 29, while on another call for service, officers heard an argument taking place at South Green and Baintree roads. A vehicle involved in the altercation left the area before police could investigate. Police stopped the vehicle, which was driven by a Cleveland woman, 19.
Two youths, 16 and 12, were passengers in the Honda as it was stopped at the gas station when a man approached and attempted to physically remove the youths from the vehicle so he could steal the car. At 11 p.m. Aug. 31, a Hamilton County Ohio Job and Family Services employee contacted the UHPD to report that a sexual offense involving a 14-year-old girl had taken place earlier that day at Bellefaire JCB, 22001 Fairmount Blvd. Police are investigating.At 12:05 a.m. Sept. 2, officers responded to a Warrensville Center Road home on a noise complaint and cited for disturbing the peace a Lyndhurst man, 21.At 2:30 a.m. Sept.
