Tommy DeVito will be just one play away from quarterbacking the Giants.
Normally the team’s third-string signal-caller, DeVito is set to make the active roster for the first time in his career during the Giants’ Week 6 clash against the Bills on Sunday.
“For me, at the end of the day it’s just football. It’s definitely a milestone, something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid, be on an active roster.”Tommy DeVito will be on an active NFL roster for the first time in his career Sunday against the Bills. He similarly filled in for an injured Jones during the team’s Week 4 win over the Bears last year, but only managed to throw three passes before he exited himself with a concussion.
“It’s definitely a hard role, you have to be expected to be able to in there, be able to perform and operate the offense and do everything at the highest level. Which is the hard part of it, but at the same time that’s what you’re here for, that’s your actual job. You take pride in it.”
