Jalin Flores has a lot to look forward to in his baseball career, but right now, he’s trying to enjoy one last season with his high school buddies.

Flores has been having fun playing baseball pretty much his whole life. He said he played other sports growing up, but once he got to high school, he narrowed his focus to baseball. Flores was superb and realized he could play at a high level. The Brandeis High School shortstop quickly became a highly sought after recruit. He had opportunities to play at plenty of schools, but there was only place he always wanted to be.
Flores, a deep-rooted Longhorn fan, says his plans are to go to college but the opportunity may come for him to be drafted straight out of high school and start immediately in pro baseball. Most of his games are full of scouts this season.
