South Carolina and Nebraska will be the latest states to vote on their respective laws concerning abortion.
The South Carolina legislative session is set to end May 16, but it has not voted on its six-week abortion ban. Gov. Henry McMaster promised his Twitter followers Friday that there will be a special session to put it to a vote."I have called the General Assembly back for an extra legislative session to take up enhanced penalties for illegal gun possession, pass bond reform, protect life, and pass a budget," McMaster tweeted.
I have called the General Assembly back for an extra legislative session to take up enhanced penalties for illegal gun possession, pass bond reform, protect life, and pass a budget. This time, state GOP Sen.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a measure in April outlawing abortions in the state after six weeks of pregnancy.
