The Republic of Singapore Air Force has sent two aircraft to Jordan carrying aid for civilians in Gaza. One will stay on to conduct airdrop operations to Gaza with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, at the invitation of Jordan.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wrote to Jordan's King Abdullah II, thanking him and the government for facilitating Singapore's humanitarian assistance to Gaza. Mr Lee also expressed his appreciation for His Majesty's active leadership in seeking a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and spoke of Singapore's belief in a negotiated two-state solution.
