With the ruble in freefall, Russia's central bank announced limits on the amount of foreign currency citizens can purchase or withdraw from their accounts. The contested Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the eastern part of Ukraine saw higher casualties at 545 , according to the agency. "It is simply not clear to us that there is a substantive rationale for it," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby stated on Twitter."We will continue to consult with Poland and our other NATO allies about this issue and the difficult logistical challenges it presents, but we do not believe Poland's proposal is a tenable one."
