He had so much energy, was literally putting his body on the line and writes a heartfelt letter.”
Mayfield posted the apparent farewell letter to Cleveland last Tuesday — the same day the Browns met with his eventual replacement Deshaun Watson. “I have no clue what happens next, which is the meaning behind the silence I had during the duration of this process,” Mayfield wrote at the time.
