Ongoing work to fix a signal outage on the Portal Bridge on the Northeast Corridor line will not be finished by the evening rush, meaning delays and cancelations for riders.
during Thursday’s post workday rush will face the same Friday afternoon as signal repairs at the Portal Bridge that carries the Northeast Corridor line over the Hackensack River in Kearny won’t be completed officials said.That means for NJ Transit commuters leaving New York, it will be the same drill as Thursday night and Friday morning.
