A man driving a stolen vehicle was killed Sunday in Oakland when he collided with another driver’s vehicle, police said.
OAKLAND — A 34-year-old Castro Valley man died Sunday evening when the stolen vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle in East Oakland, police said.The collision happened about 5:44 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Church Street.
The Castro Valley man was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Police did not say where the vehicle he was driving was stolen from or when it had been reported stolen.Police traffic investigators were working to determine if drugs or alcohol were factors in what happened.
