Salt Lake City police officers on the scene of a homicide investigation early Friday morning.
At 1:43 a.m., authorities received a report that a man was on the ground at 600 East and 200 North, according to Salt Lake City police. When paramedics arrived, they found a man believed to be in his 20s had been shot. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he died at the scene.
