Forest Hill police said Friday a person the department was seeking was found dead, multiple media outlets reported. Sellars Elementary School in the 4200 block of Dorsey Street and found a woman had been shot multiple times in the back parking lot, police said.
Following the shooting, Fort Worth ISD released a statement saying a tragic incident occurred that resulted in the death of a beloved staff member. Classes at the elementary school proceeded as scheduled, and Forest Hill police did not release any information on the shooting until a little after 5 p.m. Wednesday.on Thursday the department had identified a person of interest in the case and was looking to arrest him once evidence was processed. Police did not provide additional information.
