Aside from a short time before the paper’s inception, there are few moments in SDSU history where a Daily Aztec reporter wasn’t present to bear witness.
Superstar journalists — the kind we turn to on election night, when rival sports teams face off or when weather threatens to upend our world — aren’t born out of nowhere. In our case, they’re typing away, probably on deadline, in a basement boiler room-turned-newsroom at SDSU.on March 13, 2022.
