Exclusive: The Washington Post obtained newly released photos taken by official White House photographers of key moments inside the White House during the 2011 raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound.
On May 1, the White House canceled all public tours — including some for celebrities who had traveled to D.C. for the correspondents’ dinner. According to then-Deputy Director of the CIA Mike Morell, any meeting about the raid was logged in the White House calendar as a “” to avoid scrutiny.
