The former Plano Market Square Mall at U.S. Highway 75 and Spring Creek Parkway is now Assembly Park. The former 300,000-square-foot shopping center was reconstructed into 180,000 square feet of creative office space and 17,000 square feet of retail and restaurants. And 305 apartments were built on the property’s east side, where mall shoppers once parked.
“Beyond the world-class creative office space, proximity to established corporations and neighborhoods, and walkable concept-driven retail and dining space, Assembly Park introduces an expansive new park, bike trails and a full calendar of nightly and weekly events, delivering a lifestyle second to none.”“It was a fun challenge to convert this large mall into an approachable, active place for Plano,” Hsu said.
