The company just recalled a whole bunch of OTC meds, supplements, and personal care and hygiene items, according to a statement released by the US Food and Drug Administration on October 10.
Storing products at non-ideal temps may not seem like a huge deal, but it actually can be pretty serious. According to the FDA, if you keep meds in the wrong conditions, they may no longer be as effective. . Same for supplements: Improper storage can mess with their makeup and strength. As for at home medical devices like pregnancy tests, their labels advise you to keep them in a specific climate before using too.
