High pressure will be the dominant weather feature in the upper levels of the atmosphere. This will keep rain chances away from the area and help to intensify the heat. Please take the heat seriously and don't overexert yourself during the hottest part of the day. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles. According to the National Safety Council, if it's 95 degrees outside the internal temperature of a car could climb to 129 degrees in 30 minutes. After just 10 minutes, temperatures inside could reach 114 degrees.
