NBA 2K24 Season 2 Update includes big changes to make shooting easier.
NBA 2K24 has been out for over a month now, which means the start of Season 2 is coming down the pike next week. With Season 2 launching on October 20, developer Visual Concepts dropped the latest patch today. As you'd expect, this one is a doozy, full of improvements and fixes that will hopefully address many of the concerns players have with NBA 2K24 after a month on the digital hardwood.
The shooting boost is specifically targeting close shots, wide-open jumpers, and players who have the Limitless Range badge. Don't expect shooting a contested shot to be much easier, but if you work for good looks , you should be sinking shots at a higher clip after the patch. The team has also addressed foot-planting on the sidelines, which should result in fewer instances of a player drifting out of bounds before a shot.
