The man was being housed in the Baltimore County Detention Center in Maryland awaiting extradition proceedings, investigators said.

and fleeing the state, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office and Roselle Police Department announced Friday.

Just before noon on April 18, Roselle Police Officers were called to the home on West 7th Avenue for a report of two missing people and a search of the house uncovered the bodies of 45 year-old Keisha Morrison and her 9-year-old daughter Kelsey Morrison, the office said. Morrison was eventually identified as the alleged killer of Keisha and Kelsey and he was later charged.
