Former WFAN drive-time host Mike Francesa retired in December of 2017, only to return the following year before leaving for good in December of 2019.
Valentine will join Francesa weekly throughout the 2022 MLB season, according to Barrett Sports Media, which reports that in addition to his podcast, Francesa “will voice commercials for BetRivers. He’ll also make a few appearances at major sporting events where he’s likely to contribute a few short videos.”
Francesa, who set the standard for the sports talk radio genre during his two-decade run with Russo, retired in December of 2017, only to return six months later before leaving for good in December of 2019.
