Avoid this legal path
I’m no tax lawyer, but this seems like a glaring weakness in the proposition. A particularly clever lawyer and a particularly libertarian judge could ban property taxes under the notably correct logic that they are a wealth tax.Perhaps legal precedent or common sense would prevent anyone from trying this option, but some people really hate property taxes and can hire expensive lawyers. I wouldn’t give them any logical legal pathway to enact such a dangerous agenda.
I must say that this letter advising anti-drag show protesters to look at the child abuse in their own churches is spot on. It was a Sunday afternoon, and the show was at an outside plaza with a playground in the back, under some shade trees. Delicious local food was served along with drinks. Everyone had a great time, laughing and enjoying the show and the food. The kids played and paid absolutely no attention to the flamboyant drag queens. No one seemed to be offended and no children were groomed or approached to be gay or to participate. It was just a fun, family afternoon.
