Iron Man's new armor will be inspired by Krakoa.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning: contains spoilers for Invincible Iron Man #10As Iron Man continues to wage his secret war against the evil Feilong, his new marriage to the X-Men's Emma Frost has provided him with invaluable inspiration to make his next armor his most powerful yet. Iron Man #10 sees Tony learn about Krakoa's very own mutant metal, mysterium, which could be exactly what Stark needs to finally take down Feilong for good.
Since saving Emma Frost after the disastrous Hellfire Gala, the two heroes have been working side-by-side to take down Feilong, save War Machine, and destroy Orchis. In Invincible Iron Man #10, from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Juan Frigeri, Stark learns of mysterium after invading Feilong's mind with Emma during their Las Vegas wedding.
In Invincible Iron Man #10, Tony Stark is finally able to see the message his father Howard recorded for him when he and Frost telepathically dive into Feilong's mind, which is how he finds out about mysterium. The unique mysterium is impressively durable, very efficient at conducting electricity, is as strong as "secondary adamantium," and perhaps most importantly, it is incredibly radiation resistant.
