Supporters including Beanie Feldstein and AnnaSophia Robb showed up to support the cause at Thursday night’s “A Night to Boogie” benefit in Brooklyn.
benefit was supported by a host committee that included Patia Borja, Catherine Cohen, Thomas Doherty, Tommy Dorfman, Emira D’Spain, Beanie Feldstein, Porochista Khakpour, Linux, AnnaSophia Robb and Arden Wohl.
“As soon as I knew I would be participating in the event we were like, OK, well, we want to make a statement, we want to do something about women’s bodies,” said Robb, noting that her look came together very last minute. “It feels really cool to see people look at it because it is my body, but it also feels like armor,” Robb added. “It almost feels like a welder’s apron, but it’s me, it is my body, so it’s a really interesting separation of what is under versus what I put on top.
