A British mom says she has mastered the art of the quick and cheap vacation — finding flights for as little as $20 and making it back in time for the start of her night shift.
Some of her travels include Bucharest, Romania, for just $144, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, for $136, and the Tantra Mountains for three-days stints at $150 each. The ladies visited Christmas markets and stayed in an apartment that only cost $125 for two nights, with a prime location in the city center. “I hadn’t seen her in 30 years, but I said, ‘Shall we go for it?’” Moss recalled. “It was last minute, and we got [a $44] return flight.”They had such an amazing time that they returned less than one month later for two days — this time going kayaking, quad biking, and cycling. The entire vacation reportedly cost $150.
