JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — A fiery, head-on crash involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles led to one death on Highway 93 south of Highway 72.A 2008 Kenworth semi-truck with a trailer, a 2009 Volvo SUV and a 2008 Volvo were involved in a crash. One person in the SUV was killed.
No other injuries were reported.Both directions of Highway 93 were closed between Highway 72 and Indian Head Road for about seven hours.For now Hwy 93 is closed between Hwy 72 and 82nd Ave. I would not be surprised if they close it NB at 64th later on.
