Helen Kahan, a 100-year-old Holocaust survivor from Florida, made her MLB debut at the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays baseball game as she threw the first pitch.
to me," Kahan told Fox News Digital."So that everyone will remember that the Holocaust took so many people. I lost my parents, sisters and brothers and grandmothers. It means a lot when I hear people talk about that so everyone will remember."
Michael Igel, board president of the Florida Holocaust Museum, told Fox News Digital that Kahan"personifies why the lessons of the Holocaust are so important."
