FrontPageBets takes a look at North Carolina, a No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament, from a Final Four betting perspective.

By Adam Zielonka For FrontPageBets North Carolina is 28-9, finished second in the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season, advanced to the conference tournament semifinals and is a No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament out of the East Region.FrontPageBets takes a look at the Tar Heels from a Final Four betting perspective.North Carolina is playing much better than their seed would suggest. And the Tar Heels will have extra motivation to double up on delivering Mike Krzyzewski some misery.

They were underdogs against No. 4 UCLA but pulled out a 73-66 win in a back-and-forth second half. And faced with the Cinderella No. 15 seed Saint Peter’s, the Tar Heels easily covered the -8.5 spread, shellacking a team no one else could handle. The Tar Heels can score on teams in a variety of ways. North Carolina has had a different leading scorer in each of its four NCAA Tournament games -- Brady Manek , RJ Davis , Caleb Love and Armando Bacot .

In Duke and Carolina’s regular-season series, the teams split 1-1 with the winner controlling the boards each time. With the sixth-best odds to win NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Bacot could be worth taking a flier on. He’s a double-double machine who Duke will need to figure out how to stop in the Final Four.

Most of their success came at home, where they went 15-2 during the regular season. On a neutral court , the Tar Heels are just 5-4 -- winning their first four games in the NCAA Tournament after a 1-4 start on neutral courts.
