John Amaechi, who now works as a psychologist, became the first NBA player to publicly tell the world he was gay when he released his memoir 'Man in the Middle' in 2007.
"I don’t know the man, but he sounds like a dinosaur," Amaechi told TMZ Sports."College sports are littered with them."
West Virginia Mountaineers head coach Bob Huggins points out a call to his team in the first half of a Big 12 tournament quarterfinal game against the Kansas Jayhawks March 10, 2022, at T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City, Mo.engaged with Huggins during the conversation. Huggins has apologized for his remarks. The university has announced intentions to conduct a review into Huggins' comments.
