The pixie dust is about to settle on the new Pixar Place Hotel after a nearly two-year makeover of the Paradise Pier Hotel that will bring a fresh splash of Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Coco, the Incredibles and other Pixar characters to the 40-year-old hotel.will be complete on Jan. 30 with three new eateries opening at the refreshed hotel before the end of the year.
The Sketch Pad Cafe and Small Bytes Pool Bar will also be run by Great Maple and are set to open a few weeks after the restaurant.The new Stor-E gift shop — a play on the “Wall-E” Pixar film — will sell Disneyland apparel, toys, souvenirs and sundries. The mobile suspended from the lobby’s skylight atrium is expected to feature characters from “Finding Nemo,” “Monsters Inc.,” “Wall-E,” “The Incredibles,” “Inside Out,” “Toy Story” and “Coco.”
